Locke at Tower Park is beautifully designed to have room for a public visitation, service, and food all in one facility - allowing guests to move smoothly from one area to another. The location is accessible with ample parking, spacious lounge, state of the art sound and recording system, a full-service bar, and a beautiful outdoor patio.
We provide a relaxing setting where you can host family and friends as you gather to share your memories. We take care of room setup, food, service and cleanup, so you can focus on your family and guests.
Receptions MealsVisitation Reception
There is plenty of space to host your guests without being crowded, including room for display tables and seating for guests. Consider offering a reception and beverages for your guests during the visitation. This gives your family a chance to circulate to visit with the guests, and your friends an easy way to be with you and provide support. We can even provide a bar so people can comfortably socialize. This puts less pressure on you to rush through the receiving line. We offer light snacks or a reception; and a hosted or cash bar.
Family Meal
After the visitation, family is often exhausted and going to another place or cooking at home is just too much to think about. Gather your family here for a dinner after the visitation. If you like, we can keep the bar open, or pour wine for your dinner. Another option is a family reception or meal before the funeral depending on timing. That way, everyone has a chance to be together ahead of time, and you have a way to host your out-of-town guests and make sure everyone is there on time, without anyone rushing. A family meal can be served or buffet style.
Family Room Food
During a visitation, family members sometimes need to step away for a while for different reasons. We can provide a private Family Room with food and beverages away from the other guests.
Funeral Luncheon
The funeral luncheon can be a traditional Iowa funeral luncheon with a salad, hot entrée, sides and dessert; or perhaps something like breakfast for lunch might work well. Funeral luncheons are generally served buffet style, with staff assisting.
