Locke Garden View Chapel

Located at 3655 Logan Avenue in Waterloo, Locke Garden View Chapel is located adjacent to the serene Garden of Memories Cemetery. The cemetery features a tranquil setting for ground or mausoleum burial as well as a cremation garden. And for our four-legged friends, Faithful Companion Pet Loss Center is also on site. Our nearby chapel provides a convenient setting for a gathering of family and friends, services to celebrate a life or just the privacy needed for an intimate goodbye.

From Cedar Falls, Iowa (6.7 miles, 12 minutes by car):

On Main Street, head toward Cup of Joe and take a right onto IA-57 E/1st Street. Follow IA-57 E for 1 mile to continue onto US-218 S. Use the right two lanes to take exit 185 for Broadway Street toward Airport. Turn left onto Airport Boulevard and once you drive past Donaldson Company, Inc., turn right onto W Airline Highway. Drive for 2.9 miles and then turn left onto Logan Avenue once you see the Casey’s. Drive down Logan Avenue for one minute until you see Locke Garden View Chapel on your left.

From Waverly, Iowa (18.3 miles, 20 minutes by car):

Head south on 3rd Street NE toward Waverly Rail Trail and turn left onto E Bremer Avenue by Corner Cuts. Drive for 2.3 miles to continue onto IA-3 E/230th Street. Continue for 4.4 miles and then turn right to merge onto US-63 S/US Highway 63 S toward Waterloo. Drive for 11.5 miles and your destination will be on the right.

From Hudson, Iowa (12.6 miles, 22 minutes by car):

Start by Hudson Town Hall and from Jefferson Street, take a right onto 6th Street. Turn left onto Waterloo Road by the Hudson Fire Department and turn left onto Sergeant Road/US Highway 63 N coming up ahead by Bill Colwell Ford. Drive for 7.9 miles and then turn right onto University Avenue. Keep left to continue on University Avenue/US Highway 63 N and cross the Cedar River. Use the left two lanes to turn slightly left onto E 1st Street and then continue onto E Mullan Avenue by CVS Pharmacy. Then, continue onto Logan Avenue. Garden View Chapel will be on your left.

From Gilbertville, Iowa (13.8 miles, 23 minutes by car):

Head west on 14th Avenue toward 4th Street past the Gilbertville Fire Department. Continue onto E Washburn Road, passing over the Cedar River, for 2.7 miles and then turn right onto US-218 N and drive for 3.9 miles once you pass Moe’s One More Lounge. Continue onto I-380/US-218 N. Keep driving until you can take exit 181A for US-63 N toward Downtown Riverfront/Young Arena, you’ll see Verve Kombucha Kitchen & Bar off to the right. Use any lane to turn right onto US-63 N/US Highway 63 N. Use the left two lanes to turn slightly left onto E 1st Street. Continue onto E Mullan Avenue and then continue onto Logan Avenue. Locke Garden View Chapel will appear on your left.

From Evansdale, Iowa (7.5 miles, 15 minutes by car):

In Evansdale, head toward the Other Place on Grand Boulevard. Once you reach the Other Place, turn left on Lafayette Road and in 0.4 miles turn right onto N Evans Road by Casey’s. Shortly after, turn left onto Dubuque Road by Building Products Inc. of Iowa, then drive for 1.7 miles to continue onto Franklin Street between Yesway and Ray’s Supermarket. After that, you’ll turn right onto E 1st Street by CVS and then continue onto E Mullan Avenue, taking that to continue to Logan Avenue. Keep driving until you see Garden View Chapel on your left.
