I worked with Andy at A&W in Iowa Falls when he was a Criminal Justice student at Ellsworth College and I was still in high school. I remember him telling me about his classes and how excited he was to become a police officer. Our paths didn’t cross again after that but I became a police officer seven years after he did, partly because of listening to him and his enthusiasm for the profession. My deepest condolences to his family.

Being an individual who typically has too many words to say I have none. My heart is broken. I feel lucky to have had Andy tell me, Yah, I love you too Mrs. Carrier when we battered back and forth. Be at the rainbow bridge with our furry friends. Andy! We trust you will take care of them. The fourth graders at St. Eds School that were able to hear you and Amy teach them about beekeeping are better scientists because of you. Thank you for this. My condolences to the Clark family.

Becky Carrier

Lyle and I meet Amy and Andy on a bus trip around England Wales and Scotland and have kept in touch ever since. His sense of humor was similar to ours and we have enjoyed following Andy and Amy's lives from afar in New Zealand. We will remember him with love and respect always.

Our condolences to Amy, family and friends of Andy. We enjoyed getting to know Andy as we traveled past whenever he was outside. The grandkids always love to see all of those colorful chickens and his honey was the BEST! We appreciated seeing his drone videos of the countryside. It was a special honor when Andy performed the ceremony to marry our son and daughter-in-law. He was a super fella, a great neighbor and will be missed.

Rest in peace, Andy. You were an interesting guy and too young to leave us all. We'll all be along.

Skip Johnson

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I've known Andy since his first day on the job. As his field training officer, I quickly learned he was a go-getter, sometimes needing to be reeled in. Andy, you're a good man gone way too soon. Now no one has to reel you in because you fly with the Angels.

Andy came to work for me on my shift. We were both a bit leary of each other. Over time we came to respect and trust each other. After I had cancer and had no hair, eye brows or lashes and just looked sick, Andy told me that he still thought I was hot.😂. Spoken like a true friend. He will be wearing his Griffin patch in heaven.🙏.

Ann Meyer

I was saddened to hear of Andrew's passing. I worked with him when I was with the Black Hawk County Attorney's office. He was always a top notch guy and very effective as an investigator. Whenever I found we might need something done a case, Andrew would get right on it. We was great to work with. Please accept with deepest condolences.
