To Bette, Maria, Mike and Pat, very sorry to hear the sad news, heartfelt condolences to all of you, your spouses, your children and your children’s children, and all those who were fortunate enough to have met and known him. I hope and pray that after the mourning and grief have grown less strong that we all can look back on his life as one that was well lived. He was always ready to help anyone in need, and quick with his wit and humor. I can still see his smile and hear his laughter. In between moments of sadness I hope the support of family and loved ones will make his passing a little less painful although I know the desire to spend one more day will never leave you. May he rest in eternal peace and that those who have passed before him are waiting with open arms and loving hearts as well as our Heavenly Father to welcome him home. God bless you Uncle Jack. you will always be with us.
Oh I am so sorry for your loss… I worked with Jack in some capacity from 1988 until my retirement in 2015.
Jack was a great guy to work with…conscientious, caring, and knowledgeable. He always had a good attitude and seemed to genuinely love his work. He made the operating room a better place to work.
Sincerely, Theresa Thompson
Very sorry to hear Jack passed. We have been neighbors for over 30 years. I younger Jack plowed our snow and always had a story to tell. Please know that we share your loss. Prayers.
So sorry for your loss. I remember how relieved I was that he was there when I broke my leg. He did it with skillful expediency, compassion and humor. Just what a 12-yr old me needed. Big hugs for everyone.
Maria, Mike and Patrick we were so sad to learn of Jack’s passing. His great personality, kindness and sense of humor, willingness to be there for others as well as the years of friendship will be missed. Cherish the memories.
My wife Jeanna, worked with Jack many years @ Allen Hospital’s OR. I knew Jack through that time. He was always had a great sense of humor & kind word. Our condolences to his family. He will be missed by many. Jim/Jeanna Newcomb
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Jack was my orthopedic doctor that would give me my shots in my knees/hips. He was the best and I would request him for my shots. He would retire but always return. I would say to him when he was preparing for my shots, that I was going to close my eyes because I couldn’t look and his response would always be, “he was going to close his eyes to” and we both would chuckle. I’m really going to miss him and the last time I was there in July and asked about him, they told me that he was in the nursing facility. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Peace & blessings, Charlotte Gafeney
