Reception
Locke at Tower Park offers a spacious gathering place to host friends and family. In fact, with display tables and seating, we often recommend offering a reception and beverages for your guests. This creates a warm and welcoming environment where you can casually and easily mingle with those in attendance. With options ranging from light snacks, a full reception, cash or a hosted bar, you are able to choose food and beverage options that work best for your needs.
Family Meal and Family Room Food
The last thing you are thinking about before or after a visitation is going home to cook for family and friends. That’s why we offer you the option to gather together to enjoy a meal surrounded by family. Whether a family reception or meal is before the funeral or after, we want to give you the chance to host your family without the need to rush, prepare or clean up.

General Food and Beverage Information at Locke Funeral Services
There are both in-house policies that we adhere to as well as state policies. If you’re looking for food and beverage options as part of an upcoming funeral or as part of your pre-planning, allow our team to help guide you through the options. All food and beverages must be arranged through Locke. Lean on our experience with what to offer and how many people to plan for.

Linen tablecloths and china service are standard amenities. The staff handles all services and there is no need to ask others to assist.

There are no additional room use fees if the funeral is here, and no service fees.

Our staff come prepared with containers to box up any leftover food you may have.

Locke has a liquor license and offers bar service. There are no kegs allowed — no exceptions. Locke follows all state and local liquor laws. IDs need to be checked.

You may provide your own wine. What you bring must be unopened, and you are required to take all unopened containers home with you at the end of the day. Locke staff will provide service and there is a corking charge. This can be done for bar or meal service. It must be prearranged.

All beer and other liquor, and bartending must be provided by Locke (it’s the law).

There is no bar minimum or service charge for the bartenders.

A bar can be cash where the guest pays for their own drink, or open, where you pay for everyone’s drinks. You can run a tab for just your family if you wish to have a cash bar, or you could use drink tickets.

We can accommodate special dietary needs or younger children. Please notify us ahead of time.

Personnel is not permitted to accept gratuities. There will be no tip jars and no additional service charge on the food bill.
