Yvonne R Bellows, 88, of Waterloo, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2026, while under hospice care.

Yvonne was born on December 5, 1937, in Postville, IA the daughter of Milton and Elizabeth Voelker. She was the oldest of four children. After a short time in Postville the family moved to Westbend, IA where Yvonne graduated in 1955. She later moved with the family to Reinbeck, IA where she attended Cosmetology school in Waterloo.

Yvonne met her husband in 1958 at a Singspiration being held at a church in Waterloo. Yvonne was married to the love of her life on February 21, 1958 at Calvary Bible Church in Washburn, IA where they continued to attend for nearly 65 years. She was actively involved in the church music, Sunday school and missionary circle ministries. Yvonne also regularly led a Good News Club for children at their home.

Yvonne is survived by her two sons, Wallace Bellows of Las Vegas, NV, and Raymond (JoAnn) Bellows of Waterloo; and a granddaughter, Rose.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Williams Bellows; parents, Milton & Elizabeth Voelker; and three brothers, Leroy Voelker, Fred Voelker and Lyle Voelker.
