Theresa Francis Davis

Theresa Davis, 68, of Waterloo, died Sunday, May 10, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital. She was born June 28, 1957, in Waterloo, daughter of Albert and Francis (Walters) Diggins. She attended Waterloo Community Schools.

Theresa married Tom Davis and had three children, they later divorced. She spent most of her adult life with Jim Hensen. Together they enjoyed outdoor activities like camping and fishing. Theresa also enjoyed thrift shopping for trinkets. Above all she loved her eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children and grandchildren: Michael (Danyel) Davis and their children Lillian and Abigail, Lee (Elias) Avina and their children Elias, Michael, Evan and Christian, and JoDee (Alvaro) Elizalde and their children Julietta and Junior; and four sisters: Dawn Diggins, Jodi Diggins, Lynn Nieman, and Chris Diggins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her long-time partner Jim Hensen, and a brother Rusty Diggins.

Per Theresa’s request there will be no services held. Memorials may be directed to the family.
