Stanica Jovic, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 21, 2024. She was born on November 27, 1949, to Dusan and Darinka Lazić.

Stanica lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with family and friends, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Svjetlana (Boro), Ratko (Jardanka), Rodoljub, and Mioljka (Muhamed); seven grandchildren, Diana, Tanja, Ana, Andjela, Vesna, Marina, and Milisav; and four great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Essa, Milan, and Ognjen.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Stanica touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, and support each other at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo. Burial will follow at Waterloo Cemetery.
