Shirley Ann Ann Rogers

Shirley Ann Rogers, 76, of Waterloo, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at UnityPoint-Allen Hospital. She was born on September 25, 1947, in Waterloo to Louis A. and Marie E. (Wellner) Reichen. She graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1966.

Shirley married Mark E. Rogers on October 30, 1970, and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2021. She was a homemaker who cherished her children and her granddaughter. Shirley was an avid baker and cook, who loved supporting her beloved Hawkeyes.

She is also preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Rogers of Waterloo; sons, Scott, and Jeff Rogers, both of Des Moines; granddaughter, Marie Rogers; siblings, Patrica Reichen of Waterloo, Deborah (Bill Shaner) Reichen, Ron (Becky) Reichen, and Bob Reichen all of Dunkerton.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave., Waterloo. Visitation will take place one hour prior. Burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
