Sherrilie M Miller

Sherrilie Miller, 81, of Waterloo, died at NorthCrest Specialty Care, on Monday, March 27, 2023, of natural causes. She was born January 27, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of Donald and Harriet Rowland Cobb.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1960, and married Delbert Miller June 25, 1960, they later divorced. She worked in several retail positions including at a bakery, and a hardware store, but spent most of her time as a homemaker. Sherrilie enjoyed making plastic-craft, Artex painting, and crocheting; all the family has an afghan made by her. She also liked to go camping and riding motorcycles. She collected bells and trinkets.

Sherrilie is survived by her children: Dennis (Beth Ann) Miller of Janesville, Cristi (Dan) Hagedorn of New Hartford, Douglas (Kathrine) Miller of Shakopee, MN, and Donald (Kari) Miller of Jesup; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Charlene Boxwell.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 PM, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave. Memorials may be directed to the family.
