Sharon Wolff, 71, of Waterloo, died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital, of natural causes. She was born September 24, 1952, in Waterloo, daughter of Gerald and Norma (Moran) Phillips. She graduated from Jesup High School.

Sharon married Jeff Wolff on July 1, 1995, at their home in La Porte City. She loved to fish and enjoyed hunting with Jeff in her younger years. She also liked to visit wineries. Sharon was the best cook and was the first to offer help to anyone that wanted or needed it; she was loved by everyone who met her. She was the true matriarch of her family after her parents died, and was considered Mom to many, beyond Kendle and J.R. She worked as a secretary for Brothers Construction, and previously as a CNA.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Wolff; daughter, Kendle (Adam) Jones, and their children: Calvin, Dante, Drew, Lara and Jude of Huxley; her son, J. R. (Candis) Wolff, and their son Ethan of Waterloo; her sister, Chris Phillips Olson of Morehead, MN; and brothers: Bill Phillips of Omaha, NE, Mike Phillips of FL, Brian Phillips of Davenport, Brad Phillips of Sun City West, AZ, a special niece, Desirea Phillips of Dike, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bruce Phillips.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, February 10, 1:00 PM, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at www.LockeFuneralServices.com
