Sandra J. “Sandy” Adams, 60 of Waterloo, died Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home. She was born February 25, 1956 in Indiana the daughter of Robert and Frances (Norris) Nale. She married Jay Gowans on June 26, 1978 in Waterloo; he preceded her in death in August of 1997. She married Kevin Adams on April 4, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sandy currently was working as an RN at Covenant Medical Center in the Psychiatric Unit for 11 years.

Survived by: her husband, Kevin of Waterloo; two sons, Kyle and Luke Gowans both of Waterloo; one daughter, Jenny (Richard) Shekleton of Waverly; five grandchildren with one on the way and one sister, Phyllis (Philip) Martin of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, Jay; one sister, Marsha Coates and one brother, Steven Nale.

Memorials Services: will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour before the service.
