Richard E. Woodbury, 74, of New Albin, formerly of Waterloo, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his brother’s home in Waterloo. He was born August 8, 1939 in Sumner the son of Luther and Esther Severeid Woodbury. He graduated from Waterloo West High School. He married Carol Koschmeder on October 24, 1970 in Waterloo.

Mr. Woodbury served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as an Inspector for Chart Industries in La Crosse, WI, retiring in August of 2010.

Survived by: his wife, Carol of Waterloo; one son, Rex (June)Woodbury of Council Bluffs; four brothers, Larry (Linda) of Ankeny, John (Marilyn) of Waterloo, Russell (Cindy) of Missouri, Jim (Sheri) of Rochester, MN and one sister, Lila (Loren) Krueger of La Crosse, WI.

Preceded in death by: his parents and one nephew, Lee Krueger.
