Pearl I. Hanson, 77, of Waterloo, died Thursday, September 24, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services.

She was born March 30, 1943 in Nashua, the daughter of Verle and Mary F. Hall Baldwin. She married Frederick E. Hanson September 14, 1985; he preceded her in death January 5, 2016.

Pearl was a housekeeper at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly for many years, retiring in 2008. She also worked for various hotels in the area.

She is survived by a step-son, Wayne (Yvette) Hanson of Waterloo’ IA; two step-daughters, Glenda Hanson of Waterloo and Toni Gutierrez of Corona’ CA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a step-son, Ronald Pattee; and seven siblings.
