Nora Adeline Warren

Nora A. Warren, 86 of Washburn, died at her home, Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born July 8, 1938, in Deerwood, MN., daughter of Oswald and Edith (Bakken) Moen. She attended Deerwood Schools.

She married William B. "Bill" Warren on November 21, 1959, in Minnesota. He died January 22, 2023. Together, they were members of the Calvary Bible Church of Washburn. Nora was a homemaker in her own home for several years. Later, she worked in a daycare until she was needed back at home.

She is survived by her children: Eileen Coonrad of Smyra, GA, Ronalda (Scott) VanLaningham of Washburn, Mary Lou Sherman of Rochester, MN, Robert (Vicki) Warren of Parkville, MN, Phyllis (Darald) Bogart of Hoyt Lakes, MN, Bruce (Melinda) Warren of Embarrass, MN, William (Patty) Warren Jr. of Aurora, MN, Susan (Steve) Ferrell of Britt, MN, Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two sisters: Avis (Ed) McRoberts of Eau Claire, WI., and Orpha (Todd) Berken of Safety Harbor, FL. Two Brothers: Kenneth Moen of Houston, TX. and Benny Moen of Eau Claire, WI

She is preceded in death by her husband William and sister, Vivian Dixon.

Funeral Services: 10:30am Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Calvary Bible Baptist Church, with burial in the Washburn Cemetery, both in Washburn. Visitation: 5:00 -7:00 pm, Friday, July 19, 2024 at Locke at Tower Park. Memorials may be directed to the family.
