Nancy L. Taylor, 80, of Waterloo, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home at Waterloo. She was born on February 20, 1942 in Waterloo, the daughter of George and Hazel (Bruce) Spaulding. Nancy graduated from West High School in 1960.

Nancy married Larry Taylor on February 18, 1961 at Faith Reformed Church. Larry passed away on July 13, 2015.

Nancy was the proud owner of her own business, Nancy's Shirts and More, where she created detailed clothing for several years. When her children were young, she was a manager at the Dairy Queen on University Avenue and also worked at Edison school in the cafeteria. Nancy also enjoyed being a homemaker. Nancy loved to sew, embroidery, and all things related to crafting. She enjoyed traveling with Larry. Nancy and Larry spent many years being "snow birds" in Largo, Florida. Nancy also enjoyed cruising and took several cruises, including an Alaskan, Panama, and Hawaiian cruise. Nancy found the beauty of Hawaii breathtaking.

Nancy also had a strong faith in God and was a member of Hagerman Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Nancy is survived by: four sons, Troy (Jennifer) Taylor of Norwalk, Darren Taylor of Cedar Falls, Trent (Laura) Taylor of Sergeant Bluff, and Kyle (Shannon) Taylor of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, Josh (Lindsey) Taylor of Cedar Falls' Michaela (Dalton) Williams of Aplington' Alexander (Beth) Taylor of Des Moines, Lucas Taylor of Norwalk' Gaige Stitchman of Waterloo' Nicole Taylor of Cedar Falls' and Ozzy Taylor of Waterloo.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; three brothers, Bob, Al, and Don; and three sisters, Ethel, Evelyn, and Thelma.

Funeral Services: 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Locke at Tower Park, Waterloo.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2022 at Locke at Tower Park, Waterloo.

Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo.
