Nadine R. Colson, 80 of Farley, Iowa, formerly of Cedar Falls, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on December 28, 2009, surrounded by all her family.

She was born February 4, 1929, in Concordia, Missouri, daughter of Lambert and Delia Westerhouse Borgstadt. She graduated in 1947 from Concordia High School, Concordia, Missouri.

Nadine was a good homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and Child of God since 1955. (54) years. She married Benjamin F. Colson on December 21, 1947, in Sedalia, Missouri. After the first two daughters were born, she got troubled about her soul. Ben had been raised in a professing home and knew where she could get help. They both made their start in March of 1955.

She is survived by her husband, Ben of Farley, Iowa. Four Daughters: Nancy and her husband Rich Evans of Reed Springs, MO; Judy and her husband Dave Starling of Ames; Janet and her husband Darrell Starling of Independence, IA. Jennifer and her husband Rick Sherman of Rockford, Il. Fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Two sisters: Gracie and her husband Elmer Boehmer of Alma, MO., and Dolly Dankenbring of Concordia, MO., sister in law, D.J. Borgstadt of Independence, MO and sister in law, Rachael Borgstadt of Kansas City, MO.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers: Virgil Borgstadt and Harold Borgstadt.
