Michelle “Mikki” Grace Ann (Sapp) Uhlenhopp, 55 of Oelwein, died on January 28th, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo.

Michelle was born on May 16th, 1966, the daughter of Gordon Sapp and Charlene E. Stanton. She attended East High School and Expo School and later got her GED. She liked to read books, sing, listen to music, and spend time with her family and friends.

Survived by her husband, Delbert (JR) Uhlenhopp; her children, Brandon (Tanya) Loomis of Unionville, MO, Justin (Amanda) Loomis of Newton, Stephanie (Lakesha) Loomis of Oelwein, Nicholas (Krista) Loudermilk of Kellogg, and Christopher (Amber) Loudermilk of Marshalltown; 5 grandsons and 11 granddaughters; siblings, Kristina Archie of Birmingham, AL, Angela (Jack) Frisbey, Sr. of New Hampton, Kimberly Sapp Sweet of Des Moines; stepbrother, Jeffery Guynn of Des Moines; stepmother, Danita Sapp of Des Moines; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; and partner Steven Tellin of Oelwein.

Preceded in death by her father, Gordon; mother, Charlene; and stepfather, Bill Manley.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
