Matthew W. Mills, 34, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, March 3, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids of natural causes.

He was born March 17, 1979, in Cedar Falls, the son of Alan Mills and Marcia Chihak.

Mr. Mills had been employed by Panera Bread.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marcia Chihak and Starrett Wright of Waterloo; one brother, Nathan Mills of Waterloo; one sister, Miranda Mills of Waterloo; one niece, Mikhayla Lundak; and his father and stepmother, Alan and Linda Mills of Waterloo.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents.
