Mary L. Cole, Age 69, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Allen Memorial Hospital on Sunday, August 25, 2013.

She was born on January 2, 1944, in New Hampton, Iowa, daughter of Frank P. and Martha L. (Sackett) Edgerton.

She attended Orange High School and later married James W. Cole on June 4, 1960. He died July 22, 1995.

Mary was self-employed for several years. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church (formerly Grace Brethren Church).

She is survived by; her daughter, Tammie Cole of Waterloo, two sons, James (fiancée Kamee Swanum) Cole of Shakopee, MN and Wade Cole of St. Cloud, MN; daughter-in-law, Melody Cole of Waterloo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters: Beverly (Maynard) Ellison of Waterloo, Kay (Jim) Zarifis of Temple City, CA, Elizabeth Ebers of Mexico, MO, and Faith Edgerton of Vandalia, MO; and sister-in-law, Ramona Edgerton of Waterloo.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Frank P. Edgerton Jr. and Robert P. Edgerton; and two sisters, JoAnn Randall and Martha Berends.
