Margaret Ann Milne

Margaret Ann Milne, 77, of Waterloo, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Friendship Village.

Maggie was born on July 24, 1946, to Earl and Leona (Koepke) Bowles in Janesville. She married James F. "Jim" Milne on October 12, 1968, at First Lutheran Church in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on February 22, 2006.

Maggie graduated from Janesville High School in 1964 and went on to earn her business degree from Adams Business College in Waterloo. She worked as an Office Manager for Dr. Behrens and Dr. Moses at their Waterloo dental practice for nearly 20 years. She later went on to work as an associate at the Cedar Falls Wal-Mart, retiring after 20 plus years. While Maggie loved all animals, she truly enjoyed her dogs-especially her Beagles, Siberian Huskies, and Pugs. She was a member of the Waterloo Kennel Club for many years. Maggie enjoyed traveling all over with her family and friends, particularly with Best of American by horseback.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved canine companions, Tucker and Paige.

Maggie is survived by her son, Brian Scott (Liliana) Milne and special family members, Sara and Isbella, all of Palmdale, CA; brothers, Harold (Janice) Bowles of Mountain View, Ark., and Raymond (Sharon) Bowles of Hartfield, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at St. Timothy Church in Hudson.

Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church.

Private burial will be held at Rampton Cemetery in Monroe Township.
