What a wonderful life we come together to celebrate… the life of Lyric Ray Lynn Cook. She was an amazing person for her short 10 years with us. Born October 2, 2001… passed away July 13, 2012.

Lyric enjoyed spending time with her brother Dillin, 16, playing video games. Since they were little they often sat together playing Mario Brothers and continued through the years advancing to the newest games. Lyric continued to play Mario with her grandmother Vicki, often times hanging out with her over the weekend. Lyric had a passion for being outdoors; fishing with her dad, Dan, swimming off the dock at her great grandmother, Ilene’s, and sledding down the hill at Hope Martin Park during the winter.

Lyric loved to play cards with grandmother Wylma, stay up real late with aunt Tammy and her cousins, Kaley and Haley playing the DS or watching Michael Jackson videos. Lyric played with Kelly, Amber, Callie, and Elizabeth Collins often, usually forming a dance team out of the Collins girls and the neighbors. She spent a lot of time perfecting dance routines and gymnastics with Elizabeth, they were quite the performers.

Lyric and I had squishy love; the love where you smash your faces together and hug rolling on the ground, telling each other over and over how much you love the other. We will forever miss this beautiful girl, Lyric, and count the days until we will be face to face with her in Heaven.

Lyric, we all love you and we are so proud of who you are… we will meet you soon and once again we will have that squishy love in the perfection of Jesus Christ.
