Lois Yvonne Christians

Lois Y. Christians, 87, of Rowley, IA, died Monday, August 9, 2021 at ABCM Rehabilitation of Independence. She was born July 22, 1934 in International Falls, MN, the daughter of Joe and Hazel Larson Strickland.

Lois married Eddie Christians December 1953. She worked at Hinson Manufacturing and for the Tull family as the main caretaker for the children. Lois was a charter member of the Open Bible Church in Waterloo, but due to her health, she hasn't attended in several years. Lois loved sewing, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Lois Y. Christians is survived by: daughter, Devra (Steve) Crew of Rowley; 11 grandchildren, Charity (Andy) Thomas of Urbana' Ben Geer of Saint Paul' MN, Jacob (Laura) Geer of Saint Paul' MN, Matthew Fish of Rowley' Amy (Buzz) Fish of Waterloo' Grace (Ed) Geer of Saint Paul' MN, Alisha (Ross) Stottmeister of Tiffin' Jeremy (Tenille) Fish of Dunkerton' Travis (Christina) Crew of Janesville' Shane Moore of Beacon' Tempest Thomas of Hudson; friends, Lloyd and Mary Tull and family; and very special caregiver Vickie Madler.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed; her parents; daughter, Sharon Geer; and grandson, Adam Fish.
