Linda M. Myers, 74, of La Porte City, formerly of Evansdale, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 surrounded by her family of natural causes.

She was born April 16, 1946 in Waterloo, the daughter of Virgil Sr. and Marion (Scott) Marvets.

She married Gary Myers in January of 1968; he preceded her in death in May of 1971. She married Raymond Peil; he preceded her in death on September 1, 1985.

Linda worked as a clerk at Kwik Star for 22 years until retiring in 2010.

She enjoyed playing BINGO, Tetris, puzzles, and coloring. Above all, she loved her family and treasured each moment she spent with them. She was sure to make a blanket for each of her grandchildren.

Survived by three sons, Kevin (Karol) Marvets of Frederika, Randall (Tammy) Marvets Sr. of Evansdale and Todd (Rhonda) Myers of Waterloo; two daughters, Kim Marvets of Waterloo and Dawn (Mike Ender) Myers of Elk Run Heights; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Stan Scott and William (Aggie) Marvets both of Evansdale and Dennis Helgeson of Case Beer Heights; two sisters, Barbara (Homz) Lord of Colorado and Lori (Mike) Ingram of Evansdale; and sister-in-law, Kathy Marvets of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gary and Raymond; two sons, Mark Marvets and Williams Myers; and brother, Virgil Marvets, Jr.
