Linda Lou Gericke

Linda Gericke, 67 of, Waterloo, died at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital of natural causes Friday, October 18, 2019. She was born June 27, 1952 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Robert and Elsie Koch Bradley. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1970.

Linda married Randall W. Gericke August 18, 1973 in Dubuque. She was a seamstress who did work for many family and friends. She altered many dresses, work uniforms, and other garments of all kinds for many years.

She is survived by: husband, Randy Gericke of Waterloo; a son, Andre “Andy” (Lyndsie) Gericke of Waukee‚ IA; a daughter, Mara Gericke of Round Lake‚ IL; three grandchildren, Cameron Rhines, and Koye & Kenna Gericke; two brothers, Robert “Bob” (Betty) Bradley of Grand Rapids‚ MI, and Greg “Jeep” (LuAnn) Bradley of Dubuque‚ IA; a sister, Jan (Robert) Reuskens of Des Moines‚ IA; and a brother-in-law, Joel Gericke of Waterloo.

Linda is preceded in death by: Father, Robert Bradley, Mother, Elsie Bradley.

Linda had a great love for her grandchildren, a passion for watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs, she was an avid bowler, and she and Randy were directors of concessions at Waterloo Memorial Stadium for 13 years.
