Lena Corinna Walker, 19, of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Thursday, November 12, 2015.

Lena was born on May 18, 1996 in Newport News, Virginia, the daughter of Dan and Barb Walker.

Lena was a talented artist who loved animals…especially cats. She would have been known as the “cat lady.” She also enjoyed studying history.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 2015.

Lena is survived by her parents, Dan and Barb Walker of Waterloo; a sister, Sarah Walker at home; paternal grandfather, Robert D. Walker of Palm Bay, Florida; paternal grandmother, Sandy A. Walker of Pinch, West Virginia; an aunt, Elisabeth Oelschlaeger and her husband Werner of Germany; cousins, Corinna and Anne Oelschlaeger of Germany; and an uncle, David Walker of Monaca, Pennsylvania.

Lena is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.
