Kristal Marie Aikey

Kris Aikey, 52, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Mayo Clinic.

She was born November 16, 1969, in Cedar Falls, the daughter of James & Anne Aikey. Kris was a 1988 graduate of Cedar Falls High School, and she worked as the production billing clerk at American Color Imaging.

Kris's passion was playing pool league where she acquired many lifelong friendships. She loved to play ball with her dogs, and enjoyed cooking, grilling, and fishing.

Survivors include her partner, Kathy Fitzgerald; her beloved labs Dusty and Maggie; two brothers Jeff and Jamie Aikey; two sisters Kim Miller and Julie Feckers; many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

A Celebration of Life to be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, November 18, 2022, at Casey's 218 Pub. Locke on 4th St. is assisting the family.
