Kathleen June Wittfoth

Kathleen Wittfoth, 90, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 13, 2026, at Birdee Cottage Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was born June 20, 1936, in Jefferson, IA, daughter of Harry and Edith (Mischke) Price. She graduated from Jefferson High School.

Kathleen married Dennis Wittfoth on May 6, 1956, at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson, Iowa; he preceded her in death on June 23, 2013.

She worked in patient accounts at Saint Francis Hospital, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed scrapbooking, cake decorating and baking, and flower gardening.

Kathleen is survived by her daughters Denise (Jim) Luloff of Waterloo and Tammy (Michael) Jones of North Liberty, son Todd (Karen) Wittfoth of Bettendorf, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Joy Michelsen of Nashville, Tn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dennis, son Kevin Wittfoth, and sister Joan (Jack) Harbaugh.

Private family services will be held with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Birdee Cottage.
