Julie Ann Wiederin was born June 19, 1963, on her sister Dawn’s 4th birthday, to E. E. (Sonny) and Mary Ann Fellenzer Glass. Her brother Danny was born 15 months later and they were like twins. Julie went to Sacred Heart School through 8th grade and graduated from West High School in 1981.

She always loved horses and got one for her 12th birthday. She spent every available minute at the stalls and went to Arabian Horse Shows throughout the state for years.

She married Timothy Wiederin in 1988 and was later divorced. To this union they were blessed with two daughters, Kelsey in 1989 and Karly in 1993.

Julie had lived most of her adult life in the country. She loved animals and flowers and her place near La Porte City always looked so cute with her many flower gardens and old farm equipment sitting amongst them.

She had her beloved half Arabian horse “Sonny” for over 18 years, he passed away 8 years ago. Her big, old golden retriever Sadie-Girl will be taken and loved by her sister Dawn. She also leaves her crazy cat Psycho to her neighbor. Julie had worked at P&K Orthotics Lab and considered the “crew” there among her best friends.

Her favorite pastimes besides gardening were reading and “garage saling” with her family. Julie had a great sense of humor. No matter what problems she had, she could always laugh and joke. We will all miss her laugh and smile and hugs forever.
