Julie Lynn Williams, 73, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

She was born on March 14, 1951, in Cherokee, Iowa, daughter of Vernon and Marlyce (Bengtson) Bergstrom. She met Doug Williams in Davenport, Iowa, and they married on July 25, 1981. Together they moved from Florida to Campbellsville, Kentucky, in 1996. She worked in merchandising for many years at various locations.

Julie always stayed quite active. She loved her flowers, feeding the hummingbirds in her yard, and spending time putting puzzles together. She also enjoyed finding and collecting stoneware crocks and Coca-Cola memorabilia. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Julie is survived by: her daughter, Heather Duckworth of Evansdale, Iowa; four grandchildren, Zach (Bekah) Duckworth, Cody Duckworth, and Casey (Kari) Duckworth, all of Waterloo, Iowa; and Alyssa Duckworth of Evansdale, Iowa; one great-granddaughter, Charleigh Duckworth of Waterloo, Iowa; brother-law, Dennis Gravenish of Cherokee, Iowa; niece, Jodie (Dave) Vaughan of Windsor, Colorado; mother-in-law, Louise Manasco of Campbellsville, Kentucky; brothers-in-law, Steve (Sherri) Williams of Greensburg, Kentucky; Greg (Lisa) Williams of Davenport, Iowa, and Jeff (Dawn) Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Dale) Murphy of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Jackie Pieper of Davenport, Iowa; and Kathy Schmacht of Ulah, Illinois.

Julie is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Williams (September 6, 2024); her parents; brother, Rod Bergstrom; sister, Tammy Gravenish; and brothers-in-law, Jim Pieper, Ron Schmacht, and Scott Williams.

Funeral Services are 2:00 PM, Monday, December 2, 2024, with an hour of visitation before the service at Levelwoods United Methodist Church, 2195 Levelwood Road, Buffalo, KY 42718.
