John L. “Johnny” Hofer, 41, of 1015 West Mullan Avenue in Waterloo, died at Covenant Medical Center on Thursday, March 15, 2007.

He was born October 4, 1965, in Omaha, Nebraska, son of Eleanor Rolf.

He is survived by daughter Amanda Minikus of Traer; mother Eleanor Rolf; brother Mark Williams and his wife Amy; sisters Lynn Rolf and her husband Thom and June Cronan, all of Waterloo; three stepbrothers: James, Leroy, and Malvin; stepsister Kellie; and special friend TT.

Johnny is preceded in death by his grandparents.
