Jessie Mae Mott

Jessie M. Mott, 80 of Waterloo, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Pinnacle Specialty Care, Cedar Falls. She was born on August 4, 1940 in Independence the daughter of Nathan Franklin and Ethel Bernice Baker Norton.

She Married Eric Wendell Mott on December 24, 1971 in Neshoba, Mississippi and he preceded her in death. She was a self-employed electrician and had been the owner of W and J electric. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Survivors by: daughter, Suzann (Matt) Bulver of Waterloo; stepson, Wendell (Angela) Mott of Plainfield Indiana; sister, Pauline Weber of Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer (Lorenzo) Orocio, Richard (Sarah) Mott Jr., Kassandra (Justin) Niedert, Jace Mott, Abigail Faith Mott, Emily Mott, Hunter Cooper; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wendell; stepson Richard Mott; 3 sisters, Betty Norton, Nancy Leversee, Bernice Wathen; and 2 grandchildren Alice and Bubba Mott.
