Jerry L. Rehlander, 66, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Feb. 7, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born June 18, 1948, in Oelwein, son of Milton and Darliene Dilky Rehlander. He married Edna Hicks on May 11, 1984, in Oelwein.

A 1967 graduate of Oelwein High School, Jerry graduated from the police science program at Hawkeye Institute of Technology. He was a police officer in South Dakota for eight years and then spent 25 years at Viking Pump Co. until his retirement.
Survived by: his wife; two sons Tim Greenway of Waterloo and Chris (Patricia) Rehlander of South Carolina; two daughters, Leora (Mike) Buseman and Tammy (Ron) Mentel, both of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his mother of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Larry (Ellen) of Minneapolis and David (Kim) of Waterloo; and a sister, Margie (Jim) McMahon of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his father; a son, Terry; and a brother, Dennis.
