Jeanne C. Schrock, 75, of Denver, Iowa, died at Allen Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 24, 2006 of cancer.

She was born June 11, 1931, in Waterloo, the daughter of Edward and Estelle Dow Allison. She married David E. Schrock February 13, 1949 in Nashua at the Little Brown Church in the Vale.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1949. She was a sales clerk at Mays Drug from 1964-1967 and in 1970, Jeanne worked at Allen Memorial Hospital as an admissions clerk and a receptionist at the Allen Family Planning Clinic, retiring in 1989.

Jeanne was a member of Denver Baptist Church and was baptized at Grace Brethren Church in 1947. She enjoyed being one of the Red Hat Ladies of Denver, having coffee with Irene on Tuesdays, and going to her water aerobics at the Y. She loved being with her family and spoiling her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband David E. of Denver, two sons: David L. and his wife Linda Schrock of Janesville and Randy and his wife Donna Schrock of Denver; two daughters: Julie Young of Waverly and Lisa and her husband Bob Voves of Mason City; daughter-in-law Donna and her husband Gary Gerst of Waterloo; ten grandchildren: Kelly Schrock, Dawn and her husband Mike Mason, Kris and her husband Rich Trimble, Shane Schrock, Adam Pritchard, April Pritchard, Nathan Pritchard, Ryan Voves, Austin Voves, and Dylan Voves, two stepgrandchildren: Jamie and her husband Mike Holtzman and Tracy Spooner; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Jeanne is also survived by two brothers: Leslie and his wife Clarissa Allison of Mesa, Arizona and William and his wife Arlene Allison of Cedar Rapids, sister Evalyn L. Allison of Waterloo; and brother-in-law Dorrence Mesch of Brainerd, Minnesota.

Jeanne is preceded in death by son Richard L. Schrock, her parents, sister Dorothy Mesch, and brother James Allison.
