James “Jamie” R. Kokotan, 40, of Cedar Falls, died at his home on Monday, May 17, 2010, of heart failure.
James Robert Kokotan was born April 4, 1970, in Waterloo, the son of Karl J. and Roberta Kemmerer Kokotan.

He loved to tear around on wheels, first his bicycle, later his moped, eventually his wheelchair and riding on motorcycles. Jamie was sweet, sensitive, and kind (he had donated his hair to Locks of Love on more than one occasion). He loved movies and playing video games, and was proud of his independence.
