Izayah Ross Anderson

Izayah Ross Anderson, 2 months old, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at MercyOne Medical Center-Waterloo. Izayah was born at Unity Point Health Center-Waterloo on December 11, 2023, to Mickayla Anderson and Lamareus Brown.

While Izayah's time on Earth with his family was short, his smile, snuggles, and impact he made was mighty. He enjoyed cuddles with his grandma and being with his big sister. Izayah's laugh and cry reminded his family of a little sheep that they will miss hearing.

He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Bud, and Vicky Anderson; great-grandma, Barb Hyman; great-great grandpa, Everett W. Hyman; paternal great-great grandma, Pearl Mae Brown; and cousin, Marquavian Brown.

Izayah will be deeply missed by his parents, Mickayla Anderson and Lamareus Brown; sister, Taliyah Anderson; maternal grandma, Bridget (Mark Hyman) Anderson; maternal great-grandpa, Everett E. Hyman; paternal grandma, Shanika Polk; aunts, Haley, and Kylee Anderson, Heleana Maria Grace Hyman, Shamari Brown, and Shamya Polk; uncle, Lamarion Brown; and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. on March 5, 2024, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo. Burial will take place on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery-Waterloo.
