Donna Hostetter, 87, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Aug. 1, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Morrison, daughter of James and Lulu Stuck Elliott. She married Robert K. Hostetter on Aug. 22, 1942, in Waterloo. He died Feb. 14, 2000.

She graduated from West High School in 1939 and from Dickinson Secretarial College. Mrs. Hostetter worked for Rath Packing Co. and John Deere and as a switchboard operator for Covenant Medical Center, retiring in 1987.

Survived by: a son, James of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Susan (Larry) Bantz, Nancy Duffy and Judy (Gary) Sadler, all of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Julie (Frank) Marino, Steve (Dawn) Bantz, Brian Duffy, Nick Sadler and Evan Sadler; five great-grandchildren, Frank, Breanna, Gunnar, Joseph Marino and Benjamin Bantz; and a great many friends.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Mary Cockerham and Virginia Dodson; and two brothers, Allen and Paul.
