Harold J. Wilcox, 71, of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at NorthCrest Specialty Care in Waterloo of natural causes.

Harold Junior Wilcox was born May 8, 1942 in Dundee, Iowa, the son of Harold E. and Ethel Bandy Wilcox.

He married Roxie Turner and they later divorced. In September 2009, Harold married Cheryl S. Frye Jenson. She died April 4, 2013.

He worked at the John Deere Foundry for 30 years, retiring in 1998.

Harold is survived by his children: Mark Wilcox of Waterloo; Feleana (Nick) Wilcox Rooff of Waterloo; and Schawn (Jessica) Wilcox of Waterloo; four grandchildren: Devyn Wilcox, Riley (Caitlyn) Wilcox, Cole Troester, and Trevor Wilcox; five stepchildren; several step grandchildren; three brothers: Jerry (Rosi) Sprague of Waterloo, Larry (Cindy) Wilcox of Michigan, and Jim (Diane) Wilcox of Virginia; and four sisters: Sharon Bennett of Waterloo, Linda (Gene) Hurd of Michigan, Mary (Mark) Galliver of Michigan, and Sandy (Dan) Judd of Michigan.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and wife Cheryl.
