Geraldine F. Hartman, 86, of Friendship Village, died at Allen Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2008.

Geraldine Francis was born on October 9, 1921, in Waterloo, the daughter of Harry and Pearl Kirkey.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1939.

Geraldine married Kenneth F. Hartman on February 24, 1945, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He died September 10, 1999.

She worked in the office at Rath Packing Company for a number of years.

Geraldine is survived by her daughter Pamela Brichta-Moskaluk of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and grandson Christian Brichta of Mt. Prospect, Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her husband, grandson Stefan at birth, and brother Robert Kirkey.
