Ellen F. Abbe, 67, of Country View Care Center, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes. She was born December 21, 1936 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Allen Frank and Opal Marie (Thompson) Abbe.

Ellen attended Central Christian Church in Waterloo. She was a very social person and always concerned about everyone around her. She had many “best” friends and loved to spend time visiting with them either on the phone or in person. Ellen really enjoyed the visits and phone calls with her mom and sisters. She proudly displayed pictures of her family in her room and loved to show them to all of her friends.

She is survived by her mother, Opal Abbe of Waterloo, IA; sister, Bert J. Fellows and her husband George, of Colorado Springs, CO; and brother-in-law, Paul Nicely of Delaware, OH.

Ellen is preceded in death by her father; and sister, Ann D. Nicely.

Ellen will truly be missed.
