Donald Eugene Broadston

Donald Eugene Broadston was born February 7, 1951 in Mahaska County, Iowa to Robert Ralph and Geneva Marybelle (Cutshall) Broadston. He graduated from Montezuma Community High School in 1969. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1973 and from Allen College of Nursing in 1976. He worked at various hospitals in the Waterloo area as a registered nurse from 1976 to 1984. He then became a pharmaceutical representative working first for Milex Products and then for Key Pharmaceutical. An injury led to his retirement in 1999, but he continued to work at various jobs until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by three children, Melinda (Neil) Johnson, Erin (Brandon) Leiran, and Michael (Emily) Broadston; six grandchildren, Aiden Leiran, Parker Leiran, Emery Leiran, Holden Broadston, Leah Broadston, and Cade Broadston; two brothers, Gary (Cathy) Broadston and Dennis (Pam) Broadston; and one aunt, Marjorie Cutshall.

Burial will be in Montezuma, Iowa at a later date.
