Denise D. Todd, 73, of Cedar Falls, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

Denise was born on February 27, 1952, in Fort Campbell, KY, the daughter of Duane and Margaret (Rebstock) Vane. She graduated from West High School in 1970 and earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Wartburg College. She married Charles Todd in Cedar Rapids on September 6, 1980.

Denise worked as hairdresser before working in food service at Bremwood Campus (Lutheran Services in Iowa) in Waverly for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her family.

Denise is survived by: husband, Charles of Cedar Falls; daughter, Michelle (Josh) Jordan of Allison; son, Wesley (Kami) Todd of Cedar Falls; three grandsons, Duane (Shelea) Jordan of Grundy Center, Charles Jordan of Greene, and Cooper Todd of Cedar Falls; three great-grandchildren, Ely, Ashton, and Evelyn; brother, Jeff (Jody) Vane of Hudson; nieces, Leah and Courtney Vane; sister, Linda Jo Vane, and Cindy Schilling, both of Waterloo of Waterloo; and nieces and nephews, Mallory Vane, David Vane, Joe Schilling, Nathan Schilling, and Jarad Schilling. Denise is preceded in death by her parents.
