Debra May Frehse, 63, of Waterloo, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Ravenwood Specialty Care.

She was born May 11, 1955 in International Falls, MN, the daughter of Michael and Mary Korb Frehse.

Debra graduated from Waterloo West High School with the class of 1973. She then attended the University of Northern Iowa, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977. Debra then continued at Allen Memorial Hospital for Medical Technician classes also in 1977.

She worked at Schoitz Hospital, then Covenant Medical Center as a Medical Technician for 37 years. Debra loved spending time up at the cabin in Canada.

Debra loved nature, music and her cats and dogs. She enjoyed sports, especially UNI’s Men’s Basketball.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Frehse and her sister, Nancy Frehse, both of Waterloo.

Debra is preceded in death by her father, Michael C. Frehse.
