Daniel E. Glass, 61, of Lisbon, formerly of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Danny was born on September 24, 1964, in Waterloo, to Eldon E. “Sonny” and Mary Ann (Fellenzer) Glass. He graduated from Waterloo West High

Danny worked at Waterloo Paper and Weber Paper alongside his father for over 15 years. He was a car enthusiast who could tell you facts about all sorts of cars and an avid collector of die-cast model cars. Danny loved to go garage saleing and find good bargains. In his younger years, Danny was on a bowling league and had several perfect games. He treasured his Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Cubbies. In 2021, he moved to Lisbon to be near his sister, Dawn, and her family-he treasured his time spent with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Julie Glass Wiederin.

Danny is survived by his sister, Dawn (Scott) Duecker of Lisbon; nieces and nephews, Derek Duecker of Lisbon, Shanelle (Ben) Kistler of Mechanicsville, Kelsey Wiederin of Vinton, and Karly (Kyle) Young of Independence; great nieces and nephews, Natalee, Julia, Laylah, Paisely, Swayzie, Tayte, Colt, and Wyat.

Funeral Service is to take place at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo. Visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m. Burial to take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
