Dale Bernard Wellner

Dale Wellner, 83, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Ravenwood Specialty care of natural causes.

He was born February 24, 1938 on the farm in Fairbank, son of Herbert and Josephine (Metcalf) Wellner.

Dale married Josi White in 2014. He worked as a farmer and was proud to be a professional mechanic at Jim Holdiman Motors, and John Deere.

He liked to ride motorcycles and enjoyed being a honky tonker at the bar with Josi.

He is survived by his wife, Josi Wellner of Waterloo; son, Russ Wellner of Waterloo; daughter, Cindy Worrell of Waterloo; sons, Joe (Deb) Holtzman of Cedar Rapids and Ron (Dee) Holtzman of Hiawatha; and a brother, Edward Wellner of La Porte City.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Don, Ralph, Leonard, Bernard, Mary Jane, Darlene, and Celeste.
