Cindy L. “Ticknor” Buck, 51, of Waterloo, died at Cedar Valley Hospice Home on Thursday, October 11, 2007, of cancer.

She was born August 8, 1956, in Waterloo, the daughter of Donald and Helen Beebe Ticknor.

She married Scott Buck on July 27, 2000, in Waterloo.

Cindy graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1974.

She worked for the City of Waterloo as Food and Beverage Manager (McElroy Auditorium and Young Arena) and Powers Manufacturing in the Production Department.

Cindy is survived by her husband Scott, son Neal Ticknor, grandson Parker Ticknor, stepdaughter Sarah Buck, and step-granddaughter Kloey Little, all of Waterloo. She is also survived by her parents Don and Helen Ticknor, brother Larry Ticknor and his wife Paula, sister Dawn Lowe and her husband Steve, sister Tina Ticknor, all of Waterloo and special friend Sue Kerns of Cedar Falls.

She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
