Connie Sue Boswell

Connie Boswell, 65, of Elk Run, died Thursday, February 24, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1957, in Waverly, daughter of Ralph and Wilma Jean (Avery) Mehmen.

Connie graduated from Waterloo West High school in 1975. On August 1, 2009, she married George "David" Boswell, in Elk Run. Connie worked for the Waterloo Community Schools, retiring in 2019. She enjoyed shopping and could always get a deal. She also liked rock hunting, playing pool, going overboard for holidays, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, George "David" Boswell; daughter Angel (Chad) Halligan-Boswell of Evansdale; son Beau Brunson of Waterloo; step-son, David (Heather) Boswell; six grandchildren: Trevor, Keagan, Kyson and Corbin Boswell, and Bryson and Brantley Brunson; brothers: Larry, Dan, Todd (Patti), Scott, Kelly, Tim (Jodell), Mike (Theresa) Mehmen; and a sister Jodi (Scott) Zimple.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband Charles Halligan.
