Charise Lynn Boyd, 40, of Waterloo, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1984, in New Hampton, the daughter of Richard and Vivian Cooper Lowe. She was a 2002 Waterloo West High School graduate and attended Luther College.

She married Eric Boyd on April 24, 2010, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.

Charise enjoyed listening to music, shopping, cooking, and beautiful flowers.

Charise's professional journey was marked by a decade of service as the Focus Engineering Program Coordinator for John Deere Co. Her passion and dedication were evident to all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Boyd, and her two sons, Logan, and Mason Boyd, all of Waterloo; her mother, Vivian Lowe of Oelwein; two sisters, Kimberlie (Joe) Norton of Waterloo, and Marcie Hobbs of Jesup, and a brother Zachary Lowe of Oelwein.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Lowe and maternal grandparents, Orval and Nancy Cooper and Jean Sanders.

A memorial service to honor Charise's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave. Waterloo, Iowa 50701, with inurnment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Locke at Tower Park and also the hour before the service.
