Brent Lee Boggess

Brent Lee Boggess, 42, of Waterloo, died on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

He was born in Alexandria, Minnesota on January 30, 1979, the son of Dennis and Kim (Paulsen) Boggess.

Brent attended Waterloo West High School.

He married Paula Sue Hart on October 22, 2004; they later divorced. From this union, Drake Lee was born. He married Lisa Ann Conkling on May 30, 2016. From this union, Jaxsen Lee and Zander Allan were born.

Brent had worked various jobs throughout the Cedar Valley.

Brent enjoyed working on cars, and riding his bike and motorcycle. Brent, along with his boys, delighted in playing with their remote-control cars. He also liked to work on stereos, as well as listen to music with the volume turned way up. Brent kept an immaculate aquarium and loved to take care of his fish. He often wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved his family, especially his children, more than anything.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Boggess; mother, Kim (Craig) Buttshaw both of Waterloo; three sons, Drake Lee of Nebraska, Jaxsen Lee & Zander Allen Boggess of Waterloo; step son, Peyton Smith; sister, Carey (Josh) Rubino of Ankeny; brother, Dana (April) Boggess of Waterloo; step-brother, Andrew Buttshaw of Hampton; maternal grandmother, Marian Paulsen of Waterloo; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Dennis Boggess; maternal grandfather, Leonard Paulsen; paternal grandparents, Glen and Kathleen Boggess; and niece, Jenna Reeves.
