Bonnie Feldpouch, 82, of Waterloo, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Bonnie was born on February 25, 1943, in Sumner, to Harold and Melba (Hack) Wilson. She graduated from Waterloo East High School. Bonnie married Pat Feldpouch on December 29, 1972, in Waterloo, they just recently celebrated 53 years of marriage together.

Bonnie worked for Area 7 Job Training where she helped those within the Cedar Valley Community find support during layoffs, overcome barriers, and learn new career skills. When she wasn’t spoiling her grandkids, she loved the outdoors. Gardening, flowers, boating and camping. She loved spending time with her family having backyard bonfires. Bonnie was dedicated to their son, Dony. She was the best advocate for him, ensuring he got the love, care, and support he needed and deserved. Bonnie was a talented seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her quilting group. Bonnie loved her family fiercely and took great pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and Gigi.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nora Gallmeyer and Velma Horn, brother in laws, Bernie Gallmeyer and Richard Derifield.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Pat Feldpouch of Waterloo; children, Dony McConnell of Waterloo, Ronald (Teresa) McConnell of San Antonio, TX, Melissa Doocy (Peter Chronos) of Keithsburg, IL, and Kevin (Brooke) McConnell of Waterloo; 9 grandchildren, Eric (Chelsey) Doocy, Kyle Doocy, Jessica (Joshua) Boeding, Mariah Villarreal (Ruben Rodriguez Perez) , Alexia Villerreal (Garret Bice), Adrian (Chantelle) McConnell, Lauren (Kyle) Morgan, Leah Reisinger (Payton McCrea), and Kaden McConnell; 5 great-grandchildren, Charlie Jane and Dilynn Jean Doocy, Ivy, Ina, and Gwen Bice; sister, Judy Derifield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation and Funeral Service: Family to receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Garden of Memories.
